Where financial statements shape fundraising.

New York City carries one of the highest concentrations of major foundations and national charity headquarters in the country. That concentration shapes how financial statements need to be prepared.

Our Lower Manhattan practice.

Our Lower Manhattan practice.

Our office at One Liberty Plaza anchors our practice in the financial district, close to the foundations and national nonprofit headquarters we serve. Our partners are active participants in the New York State Society of CPAs, and our team is built to match the rigor organizations here expect when benchmarking an outsourced provider against substantial in-house finance staff.

Jennifer Han. CPA.

Managing Partner.

Jennifer founded Han Group in 2008 with a singular conviction: a CPA firm could build a stronger practice by serving nonprofits exclusively than by spreading across industries. Eighteen years later, the firm she started in a single Washington, D.C. office has grown to three locations, eight partners, and more than 500 nonprofit clients.

She leads the firm’s strategic direction and remains the primary point of contact for client relationships, setting the standard for the partner-driven engagement model the firm is known for. She holds CPA licenses in the District of Columbia, New York, and Virginia, and was named to Forbes America’s Best-In-State CPAs in 2026.

Our service area.

Our McLean office serves nonprofit clients throughout Tysons, McLean, and the broader Fairfax County nonprofit community, extending across the Northern Virginia corridor. This includes organizations in Reston, Vienna, and the wider region who prefer a CPA firm with direct Virginia licensure.

The Nonprofit Leadership Exchange.

Nonprofit leaders learn most from each other. The Exchange is Han Group’s forum for that: webinars, peer roundtables, and board governance education for executive directors, senior staff, and board members.
